Golden's FIRST Latino Celebration: FIESTA DORADA
Ready to have fun!? Fiesta Dorada premiers in Golden, BC on Saturday, May 3rd starting at 2 pm to 9+ pm at the Golden Riverfront Pavilion.

Enjoy the tastes and sounds of Latin America with artisan exhibitors and a "comida & bebida" bar with authentic food and drinks. Learn to dance the Tango and Cumbia with 'Suenuos Tangos' dance instructors and The Salsa with Tobi & Anna. We will also have workshops to teach you the art of folding an empanada and making traditional tortillas.

There are lots of opportunities for kids to play too! Join us in bashing a piñata to start the celebration, and kick around a few soccer balls in the spirit of Messi!

Workshops & Lessons
Ready to eat and drink? So are we! Make sure to indulge in tasty and authentic food and drinks while supporting some local vendors. Food items will be priced for sale at the event. Both kid friendly and adult beverages will be available.
artisan & community vendors
Fiesta Dorada welcomes artisans and community vendors to the event to sell a variety of goods, including food items - spices, rubs, oils, handmade body products, jewelry, clothing, books and lots more.
Between 2:00 - 8:00 All ages are welcome. Our programming includes FREE dance demonstrations and lessons, empanada rolling workshops, and more!

From 9:00 - midnight we will have live music and be practicing our dance moves.

Volunteers are needed to assist with set up and breakdown, registration, and other tasks at the event on April 27th. Volunteers will be on site for up to three hours sometime between 11:00 a.m. – 10:30 p.m. To sign up to volunteer, email Jessie mamacitasempanadas@gmail.com
